Who is Cliff Allen and what's on his Web site?

This site is about marketing.

It's about online marketing, offline marketing, and all the activities that make up marketing today.

There are several reasons this site exists.

The first, is to help you learn more about marketing concepts than you already know and provide some tips on how to apply those concepts. Since you're probably involved in some aspect of marketing, you know a great deal about how to market products and services. But, you may not know why marketing techniques actually work. And, what's more, you may be looking for ways to make them work more efficiently.

Well, helping you explore those marketing concepts is the main focus of this site. In addition, this site provides me with a forum to write about marketing concepts, which helps me crystallize my thinking about marketing.

I've been involved in some aspect of marketing all my adult life. I worked in radio and television on both the production and advertising sides of the business. I majored in marketing in school. And, I've read, visited with, and studied a number of the experts who have helped shape marketing as it exists today.
