This site is about marketing.
It's about online marketing, offline marketing, and all the activities that make up marketing today.
There are several reasons this site exists.
The first, is to help you learn more about marketing concepts than you already know and provide some tips on how to apply those concepts. Since you're probably involved in some aspect of marketing, you know a great deal about how to market products and services. But, you may not know why marketing techniques actually work. And, what's more, you may be looking for ways to make them work more efficiently.
Well, helping you explore those marketing concepts is the main focus of this site.
The Allens have been involved in some aspect of marketing for decades.
Cliff, the founder of this site, worked in radio and television on both the production and advertising sides of the business. He majored in marketing in school. And, we've read, visited with, and studied a number of the experts who have helped shape marketing as it exists today. Cliff passed away in 2012 but leaves a strong platform for his family to continue. His legacy is the SureToMeet system with a new product being released shortly after his death -- MatchUp -- a mobile networking tool that matches the most compatible attendees at events.
Carolyn Allen brought the creative side of marketing communications to the team with experience in radio and public relations writing, as well as graphic and creative direction for industrial, nonprofit and internet based companies.
Chris Allen brings his expertise in software programming and database management to implement online marketing tools for easy use and reliability. He has received a Science and Technology "Oscar" from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for his systems design and development -- and brings this high level of expertise to the Allen and SureToMeet systems.
